The Newcastle Jets are delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Melinda Barbieri for the 2023/24 Liberty A-League season.
Barbieri joins the club after spending the previous A-League season at Adelaide United.
Prior to joining Adelaide, Barbieri played for Melbourne Victory for seven seasons where she won two Championships and one Premiership.
Now is the time to get on board in 23/24
Barbieri has also previously represented the young Matildas.
Barbieri is determined to get to work straightaway for the Jets.
“I’m excited to be here and get to work straight away uunder Gary van Egmond and his staff.
I believe we have a great squad here who can achieve anything we put our minds to and I can’t wait to get back out onto the field and run out in the gold jersey for the Newcastle Jets.”
