The Newcastle Jets are pleased to announce the signing of defender Josie Wilson for the 2023/24 A-League Women’s season.
Wilson who plays as a defender joins the club from Northern Tigers where she played during the 2023 NSW NPL season.
Wilson rose through the ranks at Northern Tigers since she was 11 years old and has played there for the past 13 years and was also vice-captain of the team this season.
The defender is excited to join the Jets this season for the A-League campaign.
“I’m very excited to sign with Newcastle for my first A-League season. I’m really looking forward to getting started with the team and contributing to a successful season.
