The Newcastle Jets and Maitland City Council are delighted to announce that the Jet’s Round of 32 Australia Cup clash against Brisbane Roar will be played at Maitland Sportsground on Monday 14th August at 7.30 pm.
Newcastle Jets Executive Chairman Shane Mattiske said.
“We’re so excited to be able to bring a topflight football match to the Maitland region and showcase the high-quality training facilities that the team train out of on a day-to-day basis.
Maitland and the surrounding towns are an important part of our fan base and we’re pleased to be able to bring this Australia Cup tie to them. We also want to thank Maitland Council for their continued support.”
Tickets will go on sale for the general public on Friday 21 July.
Jets Members will be able to access discounted tickets to the clash, including preferential seating in the grandstand during an advanced booking window – more information will be communicated directly to Members. Kids aged 12 & under will also be able to attend the match for free with a paying adult, as part of the Club’s ongoing commitment to Kids Go Free*
