Christmas Charity Round – How to best support our charity partners.

To properly support our charity partners this weekend, please take the time to read through the following FAQS.

SATURDAY 16 DECEMBER – TEDDY BEAR TOSS

What is the Teddy Bear Toss?

Fans throw teddy bears (or soft plush toys) onto the field at a designated time and are then collected and donated to a chosen charity.

Who are the chosen charities this year?

Samaritans (www.samaritans.org.au) and HNE Kids (www.hnekidshealth.nsw.gov.au)

What condition does my bear (or soft plush toy) need to be in?

Bears and soft plush toys should be in a new and unused condition, with the tags still on. Ideally, the bear is contained in a zip lock bag. Bears and soft plush toys that are not in this condition may result in an inability for the chosen to charities to accept them and provide them to children/families in need.

When will the Teddy Bear Toss take place this year?

The toss will take place prior to kick off at approx. 5.45pm – please wait for the countdown on the night before launching your bear.

What if I don’t have a bear or I forget to bring one?

We (the Club) will have a limited amount of bears available for sale in the precinct out the front of McDonald Jones Stadium for $10 each prior to kick off – please keep an eye out for the Jets Marquee. All proceeds will go to the chosen charities.

Can I donate to the charities in another way?
