Cass Davis re-signs for 11th season at the Newcastle Jets

The Newcastle Jets are delighted to announce that Cass Davis has re-signed for the 2023/24 A-League Women’s season.

The coming season will be the 11th time the central midfielder represents the club. Davis made her debut on the 9th of November against Perth Glory in 2013. Since that debut, she has appeared in every one of the following 129 matches, amassing 11099 minutes playing time to date. Currently, this is a league record for the A-League’s very own Iron Woman.

Davis, a Newcastle local, is thrilled to pull on the gold jersey of the Jets for the coming season.

“I am excited to be signing for my 11th season with my hometown club.

Off the back of the World Cup, women’s football has gained a lot of attention and I am hoping that this interest and support filters through to the upcoming A-League Women’s season and beyond.

The Newcastle community is a big reason why this club is special to me and I cannot wait to get out on the field in front of our members and fans.

We have a new look squad and I’m looking forward to seeing what we can achieve this season.”
