ALM Match Preview: Newcastle Jets v Brisbane Roar

The Newcastle Jets will look to register three points when they travel north to the Moreton Bay region in Queensland to take on Brisbane Roar at Kayo Stadium.

The Jets are coming off the back of a 1-1 draw against league leaders Melbourne City at AAMI Park last weekend.

The A-League season is starting to reach its climax with a number of teams vying for a finals spot.

The Jets find themselves on 26 points on the ladder and will be looking to get a win away from home to put the pressure on Perth Glory and Sydney FC who are currently above Newcastle on the ladder.

Brisbane Roar meanwhile, is currently on 23 points and sits at the bottom of the ladder.

The last time the two sides met was back in January earlier this season where the Jets recorded a resounding 4-0 win.
